Born On A Thursday
28 November 2025 to 21 December 2025 Old Fitz, 129 Dowling St, NSW, Australia. After years abroad, April returns to her family home in Western Sydney to a brother irrevocably changed and a mother unyieldingly the same. What begins as a strained homecoming slowly unravels into a desperate reckoning with memory, guilt, and the crippling weight of things left unsaid.
Set across four seasons, Born on a Thursday is a searing new Australian play about the ache of family ties, the long shadow of trauma, and the strange, persistent shape of unconditional love. It's a nod to the toughness and beauty of an ordinary life; to rugby league and kidney beans and the rareness of a well-fitting pair of jeans; to both the power and limitation of learning to get on with things.
Delivered through characters that will stay with you long after you leave the theatre, this is a story about coming home - not in triumph, but with trembling hands.

They empower families and loved ones by providing accurate diagnoses, and we use donor tissue for biomedical research into CTE and other brain disorders.
