This October the Old Fitz Theatre is supporting our vibrant arts/culture sector with 2 days of affordable headshot sessions for artists, doubling as an integral fundraiser for the Fitz’s 2025 operations! Across 12 hours the OFT will offer 34x 20-minute sessions in which artists will be photographed by Patrick Phillips in a studio set-up in the theatre.
To our beautiful community of Sydney theatre makers from across departments and disciplines - whether we like it or not, headshots are a staple in every creative's toolkit, and this October we're making it super cheap and super easy.
Across two days of 20-minute sessions we want to make a difference in ensuring that all creatives - not just actors - can be visually represented/celebrated, and have the tools they need to pursue professional opportunities, without having to spend big dollars.
How will it work? Think of it really as headshots sans any bells and whistles. You bring the SD card, and we'll supply the photographer (the VERY talented Patrick Phillips), a backdrop, and a studio lighting set-up. In 20-minutes Patrick will photograph your face, and at the end of the session we will either give you back your SD card, or you can choose to pay an extra $50 for Patrick to deliver two edited photos (we'll just need you to hang back for a few minutes whilst we transfer the photos onto Patrick's laptop before returning your SD card).
